Premier League Preview for Manchester City v Norwich along with Predictions for every result in the EPL. Follow up each match with results and video highlights posted later in the week.
Manchester City come into Saturday’s match against Norwich at a good time to face a team at the bottom of the table. City didn’t play poorly in their 2-1 defeat to Chelsea, but Joe Hart’s massive mistake to gift Chelsea the winner is something they will want to forget about and move on from.
Man City has balanced their many defensive mistakes, and 11 goals allowed, by scoring the most goals in the league with 21. They are undefeated in 36 out of their last 38 home Premier League matches. At home this season they have four wins and have scored 13 goals while allowing two and keeping two out of their three clean sheets.
The Canaries are not playing well. They have managed to get eight points with a 2-2-5 record, but those two wins have not been easy for them. Norwich has scored only six goals this season and allowed 13. On the road they have one win and three losses while scoring only two goals and allowing seven. This includes a 1-0 loss to 10 man Hull City.
I’m predicting a quality Manchester City win and a great chance for them to get some defensive solidity following recent shakiness. It’s always possible that Norwich could get something, but I find that quite unlikely considering their recent form.
Betting Odds: Man City win: 1.19-1.22; Draw: 6.67-7.35; Norwich win: 14.24-19.00
Form: Man City (D, W, L, W, W, L) Norwich (L, L, W, L, L, D)
